The Ranch Lithium package delivers the same impressive solar array and Sol-Ark 12K-2P inverter as the lead-acid version, replacing the two parallel Rolls flooded banks with a wall of Pytes V-BOX-OC LiFePO₄ outdoor-rated cabinets. Ten cabinets deliver approximately 38 kWh of usable lithium storage — switching from 48 flooded 2V cells to lithium rack modules eliminates approximately 2,000 lbs of battery weight, dramatically reducing structural requirements for the battery space and making installation significantly more practical on remote rural properties. The Sol-Ark 12K-2P has native CAN bus communication with LiFePO₄ batteries, providing plug-and-play BMS integration with real-time state-of-charge data displayed directly on the inverter touchscreen — no external BMS interface or additional wiring required. The Pytes V-BOX-OC units carry an IP55 outdoor rating and UL9540 certification, satisfying Canadian code requirements for commercial-scale battery energy storage systems. Two Victron SmartSolar MPPT 250/100 controllers, the BOS panel with EV circuit preparation, and the 22-panel ground mount array are identical to the lead-acid version. Important: at this scale, a dedicated insulated battery enclosure with thermostat-controlled heating is recommended for reliable year-round Canadian operation.
