A high-capacity off-grid system for large rural properties with workshops, heavy loads, and EV circuit preparation. Twenty-two LONGi 620W bifacial panels, dual Rolls S2-L16 battery banks, and a Sol-Ark 12K-2P all-in-one split-phase inverter.

The Ranch Lead-Acid package is designed for large rural properties with significant daily power demands — shops running power tools, heat pump backup, heavy well pumps, electric vehicle circuit preparation, and full household loads. Twenty-two LONGi LR8-66HGD-620M 620W N-type TopCon bifacial panels form a 13.2kW array, the largest residential bifacial module available from Charge Solar. The Sol-Ark 12K-2P all-in-one inverter provides 12kW of continuous split-phase 120/240V output with built-in MPPT, automatic generator transfer, and native LiFePO₄ and lead-acid battery compatibility — all in a single wall-mounted cabinet that dramatically simplifies installation compared to separate inverter and charge controller components. Two additional Victron SmartSolar MPPT 250/100 controllers handle overflow array strings. Battery storage consists of two parallel 48V banks of Rolls S2-L16 2V flooded cells — 48 cells total — delivering approximately 35 kWh of usable storage at 60% DoD. At this scale, the flooded lead-acid format remains the most cost-effective storage chemistry per usable kWh. The dual parallel battery banks can be expanded to a third bank without rewiring as energy demands grow. EV Level 2 charger circuit preparation is included in the BOS panel design.
